News Release: Gorham’s Pond Dam Repair

The Town of Darien will begin repair of Gorham’s Pond Dam located adjacent to the Rings End Road Bridge, beginning in February 2025. Work will continue through October 2025. Tide gates will be opened periodically as required for construction. The pond will not be empty through duration on project and tide gates opening will be advertised in advance. Construction equipment will be in the area. Road closures are not anticipated. Traffic control will be present for any necessary work within roadways.
